Community
Guidelines.

NAFRA is built for expression, discovery and connection. These rules exist so people can use those freedoms without making the platform unsafe for everyone else.

APPLIES TOEveryone
MINIMUM AGE13+
RESPECTYou can disagree without targeting people for abuse.
SAFETYHarmful behaviour may result in immediate action.
13+Younger members of our community must be protected.
[01]

Our principles

NAFRA gives people space to express themselves, meet others, share content and participate in communities.

Different opinions, humour, criticism and disagreement are part of social interaction. These Guidelines are not intended to require everyone to agree with each other.

The line is crossed when behaviour becomes abusive, exploitative, dangerous, illegal or seriously disruptive to other people's ability to use NAFRA safely.

[02]

Respect other people

Treat other users as people. Do not use NAFRA primarily to intimidate, degrade, exploit or deliberately harm someone else.

Criticism and disagreement are allowed. Coordinated abuse and targeted harassment are not.

[03]

Harassment & bullying

Do not engage in sustained or severe harassment of another person.

This includes behaviour such as:

  • Repeatedly targeting someone with abusive or threatening messages.
  • Encouraging groups of users to harass or overwhelm another person.
  • Creating accounts to continue harassment after being blocked or restricted.
  • Using private, embarrassing or manipulated material primarily to humiliate or intimidate someone.
  • Making credible threats against another person.

Context matters. NAFRA may distinguish between ordinary arguments, jokes or criticism and behaviour intended to seriously target another user.

[04]

Hateful conduct

NAFRA does not allow attacks, threats or dehumanising content directed at people because of protected characteristics such as race, ethnicity, nationality, religion, disability, sex, sexual orientation or gender identity.

Content may sometimes reference hateful material for reporting, education, criticism, documentary or counterspeech purposes. Context will be considered when moderation decisions are made.

[05]

Protecting young people

NAFRA is available to users aged 13 and over. Protecting children and teenagers is therefore a particularly important part of our safety rules.

Never use NAFRA to sexually exploit, groom, coerce or endanger a child or young person.

Prohibited behaviour includes attempts to obtain sexual material from a minor, sexualised communication with minors where inappropriate or exploitative, and attempts to move a young person into unsafe interactions.

ZERO TOLERANCE

Child sexual abuse material and sexual exploitation of children are prohibited. NAFRA may remove content, terminate accounts, preserve relevant information and make reports where required or appropriate under applicable law.

Accounts belonging to people under 13 are not permitted.

[06]

Sexual content

NAFRA is a 13+ platform and is not intended for pornography or sexually explicit material.

Do not post or send sexually explicit content where it violates NAFRA's rules, involves minors, is shared without consent, or is intended to sexually exploit, threaten or harass another person.

Non-consensual intimate imagery, including threats to share it, is not permitted.

[07]

Violence & threats

Do not use NAFRA to make credible threats of serious violence, encourage others to carry out serious violence or celebrate real-world violence in a way that creates a meaningful risk of further harm.

Graphic material may be restricted or removed, particularly where it is shared primarily to shock, glorify suffering or target victims.

Documentary, educational, news or awareness contexts may be treated differently where appropriate.

[08]

Self-harm & dangerous behaviour

Conversations about mental health, recovery and personal experiences are allowed.

Content that deliberately encourages, instructs or pressures another person to seriously harm themselves may be removed or restricted.

NAFRA may take additional safety measures where content suggests an immediate and serious risk of harm.

[09]

Privacy & personal information

Respect other people's privacy.

Do not expose, threaten to expose or maliciously distribute another person's sensitive private information without permission or another lawful basis.

This can include private addresses, personal contact details, login credentials, financial information and other information that could expose someone to harm.

[10]

Impersonation & deceptive identity

You may use pseudonyms, usernames and creative identities on NAFRA.

You must not impersonate another person, organisation or NAFRA staff member in a way intended to deceive people about who you are.

Parody, fan and commentary accounts should not deliberately mislead users into believing they are the person or organisation being referenced.

[11]

Spam & manipulation

Do not deliberately degrade the experience for other users through spam, artificial engagement or abusive automation.

This includes:

  • Mass unsolicited messages.
  • Repetitive or disruptive posting.
  • Artificially manipulating engagement, discovery or platform rewards.
  • Operating automated accounts in ways that create abuse or disruption.
  • Coordinating fake interactions to manipulate NAFRA systems.
[12]

Platform security

Do not attempt to compromise NAFRA, another user's account or the systems supporting the platform.

Prohibited behaviour includes phishing, distributing malware, stealing credentials, deliberately bypassing access controls and exploiting security vulnerabilities to harm NAFRA or its users.

If you discover a security issue, please report it privately rather than exploiting it or publishing information that puts users at risk.

[13]

Illegal activity

Do not use NAFRA to organise, facilitate or promote serious illegal activity.

NAFRA may restrict content or accounts and cooperate with lawful requests where required under applicable law.

[14]

Content you share

You are responsible for content you post, upload or send.

Do not upload material that you do not have the right to share, including content that infringes another person's copyright or other intellectual property rights.

Public visibility does not mean ownership. Content belonging to another user remains subject to their rights and applicable law.

[15]

Messages, groups & Circles

These Guidelines apply throughout NAFRA, including direct messages, group chats, profiles, posts, comments and Circles.

A private conversation is not permission to abuse, exploit or threaten someone.

Users should use blocking and reporting tools where appropriate. Reported interactions may be reviewed when necessary to investigate a safety or moderation issue.

[16]

How we enforce these Guidelines

Not every violation is treated in exactly the same way. NAFRA may consider the severity of the behaviour, context, potential harm, previous violations and whether behaviour appears deliberate or repeated.

Enforcement may include:

  • Removing or restricting content.
  • Issuing a warning.
  • Limiting access to specific features.
  • Temporarily restricting an account.
  • Temporarily suspending an account.
  • Permanently removing an account.

Severe violations may result in immediate action without a previous warning.

Attempts to evade enforcement by creating or using additional accounts may result in action against those accounts as well.

[17]

Appeals

We recognise that moderation decisions can sometimes be incorrect or require additional context.

Where an appeal is available, users can ask NAFRA to review an eligible moderation decision. Submitting an appeal does not guarantee that the original decision will be changed.

Attempts to abuse, spam or manipulate the appeals process may be restricted.

[18]

Reporting a problem

If you encounter content or behaviour that appears to violate these Guidelines, use NAFRA's reporting tools where available.

For other safety or support concerns, you can use NAFRA's support system.

IMMEDIATE DANGER

NAFRA is not an emergency service. If you or another person is in immediate danger, contact the appropriate local emergency service.
